No shopping....

I'm having withdrawls!  I haven't shopped in about a week.  In all actuality, there haven't been very many good sales and I've been really busy.

BUT...I am making money and not from a regular job.  I have been doing tons of surveys.  I highly recommend a bunch of different ones and I am trying to put links to them on the left side of this page so you all can have access to them and start earning money too.  Like I said, it's nothing big and bad when it comes to earning, but my Husband and my Mother have decided that we are going to take an RV trip from KS to TX to CA to OR and back next year, so I am trying to save and earn as much money as I can, so...PLEASE...sign up for the survey sites and stuff under me!  It's fun, doesn't take too long each day, and it's a few extra bucks in your pocket!

I hope you all are having a fantastic weekend and will have a glorious week ahead of you!

No savings...=o(

So I am taking a small break this week.  Actually, I'm trying to find some other income sources because my mom and hubby and I decided we are all going to take a vacation next year via RV with the fam, so I am trying to earn some extra cash.  I am signing up for a bunch of Focus groups and paid surveys.  I will try and get a list of them on the left of this page, but it's just another way to save money for the household.  I also want to find an online banking account that is free and will pay you to have it....so I am searching for that.  That way when I get money from surveys and such I can put it into that acct and not have viable access to it.

Hope you are all having a great New Year and staying warm!

Places for some coupons and other info!

So thought you all might want to check this site out:
http://www.pillsbury.com/
They will allow you to sign up and then print off about $75 worth of coupons from there site!  YIPPIE!

It's a good place.

Also, found out today that if you go to:
http://www.upromise.com/
You can get an ecoupon to!  However, instead of saving the money instantly off of your item, you save that much off the item into your Upromise account for the kids college!  YEAH!  I will start doing that today.  There are some good ones that will go along in conjunction with the P&G promo going on right now!

I am going to go shopping again tonight for some more P&G stuff, so I will post my savings to you!
Happy Wednesday to everyone!

Load coupons to your Dillons card...

So, I wasn't sure if you all knew how to put coupons right onto your Dillons card.  So here are 4 sites that you go to, put in your Dillons card number, select the coupons that you want, and they will load directly to your Dillons card.  By doing that, you can stack (use an eCoupon and a MQ - Manufacturer coupon - together) coupons.  SO...for instance...today I bought Charmin which was $6.99.  I had an eCoupon that came off instantly for $3.  Right there, that took it too $3.99.  Then I had a MQ for $1/1 so that brought it down to $2.99.

Dillons a lot of times will do deals that if you buy 4 or 10 of a certain brand or product line then they will give you more off.  Right now they are doing P&G (Proctor and Gamble).  So if you buy 4 P&G items you will get $4 off instantly.  I did that this morning, so my TP actually ended up being $1.99 for 12 rolls.  Not free, but a pretty good deal.

HTH (Hope that Helps) explain a little!

Here are the sites:

GOOD LUCK!

P&G Deal at Dillons

So went to Dillons this morning and got a pretty good deal.  Not free, but all stuff we will use:

Ok, so...at my Dillons, (Kroger in KS) I had an eCoupon for $3 off Charmin. It is on sale for $6.99 and a manufacture coupon for $.75/1 which doubles to $1 off. So Charmin was $6.99 -$3 - $1 = $2.99

Crest is $2.50 and I had 1 eCoupon for $.75/1 and 1 manufacturer coupon for $.75/1 which doubled to $1.
Crest was $2.50 - $.75 - $1 = $.75

Another Crest $2.50 and had another $.75/1 which doubled to $1.
Crest was $2.50 - $1 = $1.50

Gilette men's body wash with free mini deoderant (Shelf price at $2.50 but rang up $3.50 - I'll go argue with them tomorrow didn't have time today) and had a $1/1 coupon.
Gilette was $3.50 - 1 = $2.50

Total was $2.99 + $.75 + $1.50 + $2.50 = $7.74
$7.74 - $4 P&G = $3.74 + tax

Not free, but pretty good! Going to get some more Crest coupons because that will make the ProHealth kind we use $.50/box!

HTH!!!

My 1st new post...

So, I had this blog for awhile, but haven't really used. In this new year, I'm going to hopefully keep this blog up to date on my life, my savings, and how I can help each and every one of you to save too!

I really want to become debt free in two years, which includes about $150,000 in school loans between me and my husband.  So, it's a very large feat, but i feel if I am frugal and I can teach my family how to be frugal, then we can achieve.  I really would like to buy a house sometime!  It would be nice instead of renting!

So i will keep you all up to date on my savings and hopefully I can help you all save too.  I will be posting forums and places I go to learn about coupons and savings.  That way you all can stay in the loop too.  I encourage each and everyone of you to post your savings as well.  That way we can encourage each other.

Thanks for the support and good luck to the savings of you all in the New Year!
